Municipality of Kincardine Clarifies e-Scooter Rules

The Municipality of Kincardine is sharing information regarding the current regulations related to e-scooter use within the municipality.
An e-scooter is a two-wheeled, stand-up scooter equipped with handlebars, a floorboard for the rider to stand on, a rechargeable battery, and is powered by an electric motor.
The Municipality of Kincardine has not opted to participate in the provincial e-scooter pilot project or passed any by-laws to regulate its use. As a result, under the regulation, e-scooters are not allowed on municipal roads. This prohibition is by default and in line with the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).

Huron-Kinloss Golf Car Pilot Project
