Refurbishment of Bruce Power Unit 3 reactor completed ahead of schedule and under budget, province says

The refurbishment of the Bruce Power Unit 3 reactor has been completed months ahead of schedule and millions of dollars under budget, the province announced Monday. On Monday in Vaughan, the Ontario government announced the completion of the refurbishment of the Bruce Power Unit 3 reactor at the Bruce Nuclear Generating Station in Kincardine, Ont., representing “the most successful completion and return to service of a nuclear unit in Ontario history.” According to a press release, the project was completed seven months ahead of schedule and under budget, saving taxpayers $150 million. Want to give a shout out to the King’s Pearl Pub & Eatery in Tiverton for a great lunch on Tuesday! Harvey and I went there on Tuesday for our pre-anniversary lunch. Their fire & ice wings and garlic bread were amazing. Forgot to take pics!

I went last week and it was fantastic! A great way to start your week - all are welcome, bring your lawn chair and a Bible.
