June is Bike Month!

Launch of Smart Beach Light System at Station Beach

LThe Municipality of Kincardine is announcing the upcoming official launch of the new real-time beach safety signal at Station Beach. Following a testing and calibration period, the Smart Beach Light will become fully operational on June 12, 2026, providing beachgoers with current swimming condition information throughout the summer. The initiative is part of the Smart Beach program, which aims to improve waterfront safety through data, technology, and public education. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on June 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Station Beach to mark the official launch of the Smart Beach Light. Read more here
