VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!!

The Clothes Hamper is Looking for Volunteers

(copied from fb post with permission)

We are in need of people willing to join our dedicated team of volunteers and make a positive impact in our community. We need people who are able to commit to 3 hours per week, year round. Shifts we are looking to fill are:

1. Every other Thursday, 1-4.

2. Three Fridays per month, 1-4. That could be one person willing to do all three, or 3 individual people one Friday per month.

3. People willing to be on our spare list. Calls for those on our spare list are sometimes …

The Clothes Hamper is also accepting spring & summer clothing donations

Looking to collaborate with a local business!

Reactor Room is preparing to move into a new space and we are exploring the opportunity to partner with an existing business that may want to expand into a second location.

We are looking for a partner interested in operating a small food and beverage component within the space. The concept would focus primarily on beverages with a simple menu such as burgers fries and light snacks designed for quick and easy service.

This could be a great opportunity for a local restaurant bar or food business that wants to grow their brand in a new location without taking on a full standalone expansion.

Reactor Room is working on something new and exciting and this next phase will bring a completely different experience to the community.

If you or someone you know may be interested in collaborating please send us a message.

Stay tuned as we reveal more details about this exciting venture.

Each year I make it my mission to donate my session time to at least one organization or community funded project in our area. In the past I have done sessions with proceeds going to Huron Heights Public School Playground Project, Kincardine Woman's House, Grey Bruce CAN Community Aid Network, Kincardine Food Bank as well as Pay What You Can sessions, just to name a few.

With the new high school build having  everyone incredibly excited (me included) I thought it would be a wonderful opportunity to do some fundraising sessions to help provide funds for KDSS’ enhancement campaign.

More info on my Give Back project Clicks For A Cause or to book a session all information can be found in the link below.
