Good Morning, Kincardinites! Welcome to this issue of Kincardine Spotlight – where you can find all of the area’s events delivered right to your inbox!

If you’ve always wanted to try your hand at painting, (or you’re a master at it already), try Cindy Pearce’s Conscious Creations Art Class at Boston Pizza tonight. The class will be painting a sunset along with the iconic Kincardine Lighthouse. Details on how to reserve your spot are in the ‘Events’ section.

And, as promised, we have a new business sponsor for July for our Scavenger Hunt - Patz Pizza in Tiverton! As the community’s favourite pizza, we are delighted that they are participating in our newsletter. 🙂 You’ll find more details including this month’s prize in this issue. And for those who haven’t heard of the scavenger hunt yet, here’s how it works:

Each issue will have a trivia question. The answer is located somewhere in the issue. Email your answer to [email protected]. All correct entries will get entered into a draw at the end of the month. Each month a local business will donate a prize. You can enter as many times as you wish. You’ll find more details, the trivia question (and the answer) below….keep reading!

How can we make this newsletter better? What would you like to see more of? Less of? Or something added that we’ve missed? This is YOUR newsletter and we want to make it right! So tell us your thoughts at [email protected]

Enjoy this issue of Kincardine Spotlight. Don’t keep us a secret - forward to a friend who missed out on an event because they weren’t subscribed to Kincardine Spotlight 🙂 Subscribe here

Notice: Marine Archaeology Survey of SS Erie Belle Wreck Site Planned for Summer 2026. A licensed marine archaeology survey will take place this summer in Lake Huron to document the SS Erie Belle wreck site. Qualified volunteers, including archaeologists, divers, and historians, will document and record remains of the site, including detailed measurements of the Boiler Beach boiler, to help better understand and preserve this part of local history.

And speaking of ship wrecks: Did you know that the Erie Belle was actually a tugboat that was trying to rescue the J.N. Carter, a timber-laden schooner that had run aground in a gale? The crew members of the J.N. Carter were rescued a few days earlier, but the ship was stranded for the winter, after the Erie Belle tragedy failed to rescue her.

Uncle Perrys Restaurant located at 9 Mill Street in Tiverton is opening soon. Stay tuned for Grand Opening date, menu, hours of operation and so much more.

Hair Dye Fixes the Gray. It Doesn't Fix the Roots

Hair dye solves the gray you can see. It doesn't touch the reason it's happening. That's why the roots come back, the color looks painted, and the routine never ends. You're not fixing the problem — you're managing the symptom every few weeks. Particle Anti-Gray Serum works differently. It targets the root cause of graying — restoring your natural pigment gradually, from the inside out. Hair and beard. No dye, no smell, no roots giving it away. Results that look like yours because they are. Five seconds a day. Thirty-day money-back guarantee if you don't see a difference. Over a million men trust Particle. Get 20% off and free shipping with code BH20.
